We regret to inform you of the Petirah of Mrs. Selma Lieber A”H, a longtime Lakewood resident, who was Niftar overnight.
Selma A”H was the wife of Chazzan Aaron Lieber Z”L. For many years, she worked at the Bookman’s shop on Clifton Avenue.
Mrs. Lieber A”H leaves behind 2 sons and a daughter – Rabbi Yussie Lieber of Far Rockaway, and Rabbi Moshe Lieber of E’Y, Mrs Goldie Stein of Lakewood and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The Levaya is scheduled for 11:00 AM today at the 7th Street Chapel, 613 Ramsey Avenue, with Kevurah in the nearby Bais Olam.

I will always remember Mrs. Lieber’s friendly, smiling face when I went into Bookmans or when I met her. She was part of that special group of people who grew up the USA when it wasn’t as easy to stay frum as it is today. She remained frum, raised a frum family and was mekarev others. An inspiration to us all.
I owe all my ruchnius to my spiritual parents, Chazzan & Mrs. Lieber. May they both have a lichtega Gan Aden & be melitzim yoshorim for us all.
