We regret to inform you of the Petirah of Mrs. Lora Finkelman (Edelson) A”H, who was Nifteres on Friday afternoon. She was 73.

Mrs. Finkelman A”H, known fondly to many as “Morah Lora,” was Mekarev hundreds of girls for many years and brought them to Yiddishkeit in Ukraine. She was an amazing mother and grandmother. She lived in Crown Heights during the last years of her life. Many of her talmidos reside in Lakewood.

The Levaya is scheduled to take place today, Sunday, at 9:30 AM at Shomrei Hadas in Borough Park, followed by the Kevurah at Floral Park Beis Hachaim in Deans, NJ.

The family — Shaindy Gottlieb (Lakewood) and the Edelson, Varenberg and Finkelman families — will be sitting Shivah at 246 Crafton Avenue, Staten Island, through Friday.
