We regret to inform you of the Petirah of Mrs. Esther Lefkowitz A”H.

An Eishes Chaver of her husband Hagaon Rav Shlomo Noson Lefkowitz ZT”L, who was niftar just nine months ago, she was completely devoted to him and his learning. She was an Isha Tzenua and a strong matriarch for her family, imparting a strong mesorah of commitment to Torah and mitzvos. Her regal bearing and warm caring endeared her to family neighbors and friends alike. Even in her later years, she davened all the tefillos and recited Tehillim on behalf of all those who needed yeshuos.

Her brother, HaRav HaTzaddik Avrohom Nissan Neiman ZT”L, the Vizhnitzer Dayan, was niftar a few months ago. She was the last surviving child of HaRav Tzvi Neiman ZT”L, one of the closest chasidim of the Alte Vizhnitzer Rebbe.

The Levaya is scheduled to take place at 11:15 AM at the Lakewood Chapel, 613 Ramsey. Kevurah in Eretz Yisrael.

Shiva will take place after Yom Tov in Lakewood. Details to follow.
