We regret to inform you of the petirah of Harav Yaakov Busel, the Rosh Yeshiva of Edison Yeshiva.
R’ Yaakov, who ran the yeshiva along with R’ Yosef Eichenstein, was a preeminent talmid chochom, beloved by generations of talmidim who sought his guidance and advice. Despite much suffering, including losing his first wife – the daughter of R’ Boruch Sorotzkin of Telz Cleveland – R’ Yaakov never wavered in his duties as a rosh yeshiva and oved Hashem.
R’ Yaakov had been hospitalized with coronavirus over the last few months, over which a name – Chaim – was added.
He is survived by his wife, Rebbetzin Esther Busel, and his children and grandchildren.
