UPDATED: We regret to inform you of the Petirah of Harav Simcha Schustal Zatzal, the Rosh Yeshivah of Beis Binyomin in Stamford, who was Niftar moments ago. Rav Schustal, 89, was Niftar at Kimball Medical Center, where he was admitted yesterday.

UPDATE: The Levaya will be taking place tomorrow morning at 7th Street and Private Way at 9:00 AM, and at the Stamford Yeshivah at 1:00 PM. The Levaya in Lakewood is expected to be over at 10:00 AM.
The Aron will then be flown to Eretz Yisroel for Kvurah via JFK.

I am heartbroken. I learned in Stamford many many years ago and more recently he was my son’s sandek here in Lakewood. I can only think of how much I was zoicha to shteig because of the rosh hayeshiva then in my days in Stamford Yeshiva.

Sar vigodol nofal biyisroel. I will never forget the midos and ahavas hatoirah he gave over to us in yeshiva. Unlike the ahavas hasrora that we see today, reb simche allways HATED kuved. He loved a nice sevore.he hated sheker.and never ever hurt a yid.

We have been so fortunate to have many Gedolei Yisroel who have been maarich yomim. I hope we have done our part in appreciating this zechus. Usually Roshei Yeshiva who are elders are much more willing to talk to anyone who comes their way, and share brochos and memories, even if in younger years they had really devoted time only to their talmidim. that gives all of us, men women and children the great zechus to connect to outstanding people. Lets resolve to take advantage of the opportunity and connect to the ziknei sheeris yisroel.

Could everyone please help the Stamford yeshiva in his zechus. tgey are the only teahiva to survive in absolute poverty. each day the lights stay on or they arent foreclosed is a miracle. the literally are one of tge top yeshivas in the country
