Legislation that will force public employees to pay more for their health insurance and pension, was passed in the state Senate today 24-15. The controversial bill, which was a focal point of Governor Christie’s administration, will now head to the Assembly for a full vote.
The bill received majority Republican votes.
I hope the government is ready to pay for their pensions & benefits as well.
teachers need to pay more.
finally the boe budget will go down
i wonder who,ll pay for this dicision…….!
GREAT! Not only did I get a tap by the Township but now I’m getting one from the State!
How much more would you like teacher, Paraprofessionals and Secretaries to pay????Ummmm. For the most part, most of these people are single parents trying to survive and not live off the system like most folks. Enough with the witch hunts. No matter what, the boe
$$$ will never go down, because it is supplying the needs of the public and the private sector, which by the way the private sector is much bigger and needier.
it’s about time. If we could cap busing and special ed we would be town on the mend.
