PEDESTRIAN STRUCK

ems_patch smallPD & EMS have just responded to Cedarbridge and New Hampshire-near the Blue Claws stadium-for a Pedestrian Struck. A TLS reporter on the scene is advising that the area has been shut down to traffic and injuries appear to be serious. We will keep you updated.
U/D 6:15 p.m. The victim is being transported by EMS to Jersey Shore with serious injuries. (There has been numerous MVA’s at that intersection in the recent months-many of them serious).

  1. Maybe they should get some lighting on that road I have to drive on Cederbridge daily from the Parkway and I fell like benging Gomel evrey Monday &Thursday

    Can you elaborate? Who flew over your car? I mean you could be referring to Canadian Geese! Are you referring to the pedestrian being drunk or a driver involved??

The problem with that intersection is that it crosses two 4 lane roads with 50 MPH limits, meaning the cars are routinely doing 60-65 and trying to beat the yellow- while cars from the intersection try to jump the red by predicting the moment it turns green. that is a recipe for disaster, as we see on that corner all the time. I think installing red light cameras will do wonders in reducing the crashes
