We regret to inform you of the passing of Mrs. Charlotte Krupnick A”H, who was Niftar this afternoon. She was 89.
BMG released the following statement to TLS.
“We are greatly saddened to learn of the passing of Mrs. Charlotte Krupnick, A”H, devoted wife of Mr. Sydney Krupnick, and loving mother of Karen Mandel, Richard Krupnick, Marcy Janora, and Alan Krupnick, and loving grandmother and great grandmother.“
Rabbi Aaron Kotler of Beth Medrash Govoha, who is a close personal friend of the Krupnicks, shared the following:
“Charlotte was a dear friend of everyone in Lakewood, with a spirit and presence that always inspired and brought a smile to all. She was a most treasured friend, and we are grieving deeply with her passing. Her love of family, of community, and of Jewish tradition brought such joy to all. We will particularly miss her wisdom – shared freely, with humor, warmth and love, and conveyed with her trademark plain-spoken humility. She and her husband Sydney, may he have much strength and health, have been long-time backbones and stalwarts of the entire Lakewood community, giving of themselves to all – without reservation or hesitation. We are blessed with the Krupnicks and immeasurably saddened over Charlotte’s passing.
The entire Beth Medrash Govoha community, my own family, and all of us in Lakewood mourn her passing, and share together with our dear Chaver Sydney, with her children Alan, Richard and Karen, and with their families in their time of loss.”
The Levaya will be on Friday at 11:00AM at Bloomfield Cooper (D’Elia Funeral Home), 1300 Vermont Avenue.
May the Krupnick family know only comfort, along with all the mourners of Zion.
Charlotte was indeed a wise and gentle woman, a person of the highest calibre. She will be sorely missed.
I had the great fortune to work with Mrs. krupnick many years ago. She was always a wise woman with a tremendous love for Israel and helping Jews from all walks of life.
She will be missed by many.
