If you notice traffic moving a little slower than usual over the next few days or nights, that’s because the State is currently re-striping parts of their road, andtemporarily closing off a lane in the process.
The State, like the DPW in Lakewood, uses a thermo-striping process for the yellow lines on the road, which gives the stripes a longer lifespan. Until recently, the stripes were spray-painted.
