When it comes to finding fellow Yidden a livelihood, R’ Duvi Honig knows that one must stop at nothing. There is no greater chessed than helping a breadwinner find a job and get on his feet, and it was with this in mind that Honig, just a few months ago, created a new, one-of-a-kind resource
On its first day up, parnassahnetwork.com saw over 6,000 hits. It t has seen spiraling interest ever since.
Parnassahnetwork.com is a one-stop resource for employees and job-seekers alike. The website allows job seekers to post their résumés, with a name or without, for businesses and organizations to review. Job seekers are then contacted if they are seen as a potential match.
The site also allows job seekers to post positions that they are seeking to fill, along with contact information to submit a résumé.
“The site has already received over 129,000 hits in a few months and has helped many people, boruch Hashem,” R’ Duvi Honig says. “It has been a tremendous success, with people posting available jobs and résumés, and job-seekers all over are being hired and getting interviews.”
R’ Duvi is the founder of the Learn and Network Kollel and the Parnassah Expo. The dual endeavors have, be’ezras Hashem, paid great dividends for community breadwinners and businessmen, and have helped bring together a vast group of parnassah-related resources from across the tri-state area and beyond. The website harnesses these connections in a single, easy-to-use portal that smoothens out the entire process and opens new windows of opportunity for everyone.
Already in its short time in service, ParnassahNetwork.com has attracted the attention of numerous job seekers and scores of renowned corporations and agencies for a highly diverse range of occupations, ranging from entry level to high end communal and professional.
Many people return daily to check for updates.
If you know individuals who are hiring or are looking for a job, share with them the resource that is Parnassahnetwork.com. For more information, visit www.parnassahnetwork.com or email [email protected]
I love the website. It is such a help when looking for a job. But after contacting many of them they either say that the position is full or I get no response. Is there any way that jobs can be removed as soon as they get taken and to speak to the posters to please respond to all inquires even if it is already taken as it is very frustrating not to get any response at all.
Kudos to all askanim!!!
hey duvi i didn’t know….you got upgraded from plain duvi…….REB DUVI…..just humoring you. you are a great man!!!!!!
Good job duvie!
duvi thank you so much
#1 Job Seeker – not always is it possible for a business owner to answer all inquiries especially if he gets flooded with resumes.
Although it would be nice its sometimes unrealistic.
It is frustrating that some of the job posts arent taken down when filled. It seems that people remember to let people know when they need something but human nature many times forgets to “Acknowledge” when their needs are fulfilled!
Also it could be that other people send in available jobs that they know about but dont always know or remember about an update on the position.
Just my thoughts!
Dont give up keep on trying… its like shidduchim. Can seem like it will never happen but you cant give up and you will get hired!
#6 you sound like a professional/logical person
