PHOTOS of last night’s parlor meeting to benefit Sinai Academy. The organization, founded by Hagaon Reb Elya Svei Zatzal, is designed to assist Russian children in bringing them closer to Torah. The event was hosted by Reb Heshy Schonberger. The M.C. of the event, was Reb Menashe Frankel.

We should take care of the children in our own backyard! About 10 children out of school!
There are more than 10 out of school.
We are all Hashem’s childern! Hashem made some of us Aniyim in one way or the other only to give those of us who are Ashirim a chance to get Zchusim that can reverse bad gzeiros that Saton manages to seal against us, even Gzeiras Moves! I heard from many Rabonim that if we take care of those “other” kids that are not from our Kehilah, Hashem will take care of our children in return. So here is our chance to make a differance and get a zchus that will protect our kids.
FYI: I was one of those kids in Sinai Academy 15 years ago. My parents had hard time paying a tuition of just $100/month, we just did not have the money, many parents just send their kids to public school instead becouse it’s free. Sinai tries to do alot with the little it gets but some really great Rabbeim left Sinai becouse the could not live of the salary they were getting! There is no parent body that can support the school and fill in the budget gaps.
Why would Hashem allow for this? To give us the Zchus!
