In response to the current snowfall, the Public Works snow trucks have been out for the last couple of hours placing salt on the roads, but not plowing. TLS spoke with Mayor Steven Langert a few moments ago who said that the Public Works’ policy is not to plow roads when snow accumalation is under 3 inches. The current snowfall is not expected to exceed that 3 inch minimum, the Mayor said.

its for sure 3 inches!
that is the stupidest policy.
u cant really plow with so little snow… but alot of salt is needed..
your paying overtime anyway to drive down every street, why not drop the plow on the larger roads. Now it will just be ice packed and freeze.
from the looks of the last storm the policy must be that they dont plow above 4 inches either so its a win win for them never have to plow
