[Reader’s response to this article] The occupiers have no clue why they are there. They are simply “protesting” the 1% who are getting richer. Isn’t that what America is all about? Getting richer? Everyone has the freedom in America to get richer, unlike most other countries in the world where the government decides who gets rich and who gets poor.
Every one of the occupiers has the right and the freedom to do whatever they can to get a good job, to start a business, and to compete and offer someone else goods and services, in return for as much money as the other person is willing to pay for it.
Every one of them has the freedom to start a company like Facebook, and overnight to become rich.
Mark Zuckerburg is from the 1%, right? He got very rich over the last few years. Why? Because he actually produced something that others want. He produced Facebook, and we all want it so much that we’re willing to pay for it (through advertising) and so, Mark Zuckerburg got rich.
You can also do that. Go produce something, and if enough people want it that they are willing to pay for it, you will get rich too.
In Russia or North Korea, by the way, if the government doesn’t want you to get rich, you won’t. No matter how many Facebooks you produce. Which is why nobody in Russia or North Korea produces Facebook or any other good product in the first place.
Be thankful that we live in the most free country in the world. And be worried as the socialists slowly take away those freedoms.

Soon they will want EVERYBODY to give their money to the poor Occupiers who “have nothing”.
Did you know, that on the official website for Occupy Wall St, one of their demands is the abolition of all property rights in America. Which means, that nobody should own any land in America, only the government.
Is that what you want??
Wake up. The Tea Party is against the government bailing out Goldman Sachs and Wall St. The Tea Party is against government overtaxing and overspe3nding, period.
The Occupiers, on the other hand, are using Wall St and the 1% as punching bags in their quest to destroy all property rights, and all hard work and wealth in our country. They want that eventually everyone should be “equal” ——- equally poor and miserable.

Mark Zuckerberg was penniless in college. There are emails that were released from the time when he was developing Facebook, where he begs his investor/ friend for $1,000 to complete the job.
