The Jackson Council, specifically Alex Sauicki, announced they are setting up a new citizens advisory committee in Jackson. According to the resolution, the council intends to appoint Elenor Hannum to this committee.
Said simply, the Jackson Council has reached a new low.
As the town is attempting to navigate its way through multiple lawsuits alleging the town was influenced by Ms. Hannum and her organization in creating ordinances designed to target Orthodox Jews, the town is appointing her to a town advisory committee. Alex Sauicki and town council, have you lost your minds?
Ms. Hannum has been the subject of multiple stories on TLS in the past.

Ms. Hannum was caught on tape discussing how to purchase a pine snake and place it on a Jewish owned property to stop the development (which was litigated and recently settled). Is such a person worthy of belonging on a board?
Ms. Hannum’s organization was named by the U.S.D.O.J in their lawsuit against Jackson. Why would a council that claims that they are looking to settle the various lawsuits and move the town forward include her on a committee?
Ms. Hannum is a liability for the town and including her on a committee will open the door for more litigation. If the Jackson Council is actually serious about settling the existing lawsuits, the council should reconsider placing her on the committee.
Ms. Hannum is part of the problem, not part of the solution.
Ms Hannum should not be appointed to any committee. Her bi weekly rants are full of lies, hate and misinformation. Her constant calls to code enforcement show her obsession with Jews.
As a new Jackson resident this very much disaponts me. No more shopping at County Line hardware if this goes through.
Seriously? She is a bad person. Really bad and evil.
She’s also the nutcase who recently went crazy when she saw a sign in her neighbors yard offering to buy houses for cash. She called township on them and posted about this “terrible” tragedy… going on and on how it’s a sign with a threatening message. Even though she herself was busy selling bigger signs saying not to sell houses to jews. And obviously had no compunction about the Jackson Strong signs a few years back. She is definitely the nuttiest and the nastiest of the cupon crowd. Nuts with an agenda are a serious menace to society.
