  1. Please make sure to plow Somerset Ave/The Estates. The past 2 storms, our block was terrible for a really long time!!!!!

    Thank you.

  2. please add to your list brookhill. arosa hill was not plowed or at least not enough last storm. i know you are busy as ever but it would be gr8ly appreciated if you can get to us.
    thank you!!

  3. Once again all the different Emergency Response orginazations in town are invited to this important meeting but not Lakewood First Aid.
I guess Captain Meir Neumann was right in his concerns that were written here last week.

  4. I’m worried what the matzav will be on Purim, lemaisah, because the heiliger kinder can’t deliver the shalach manos if the sidewalks, and access to them, ain’t cleared up!!

  5. if you want your neighborhood cleared properly, make sure EVERYONE is parked on only one side of the street!! Or better yet, park in driveways. That goes for EVERY development that kvetches about a purely done job after the fact.

  6. Give the hard working rebbeim and morahs their envelopes tomorrow and stay in ur area. give mishloach manos to ur neighbors. Ur purim will be the most relaxed and enjoyable one ever.

  7. Just for the all to know. Scott Carter is the supervisor of EMS and only in charge of them. Moshe Heineman was not there on behalf of First Aid he was there for OEM (Office of Emergency Management).
I think the Captain of the First Aid Squad should have been there as he needs to know how to instruct his members.
But again I see they forget about them.
Hey Meir maybe be in touch with Scott or Moshe as they may have some important info for you.

If you want the kids to walk safely on the sidewalk and NOT IN THE STREET then get the residents to shovel off their sidewalks. I drove down Chestnut Street a couple of days ago and there were MANY people walking in the street because none of the sidewalks were cleaned. And that was MANY DAYS after the last snowstorm. I thought thew township had a law about cleaning off the sidewalks?

  9. WOW youu can get so many ASKANIM in a room to talk about the weather and what they can do about it.

How about getting ASKANIN in a room and talk about the 70 girls from BYE that have not been in school now for a whole week. did we forget about them so soon.

  10. here we go again they will say there are to many cars and they cant plow.
TOWNSHIP – YOU ALLOWED BUILDING WITH FINISHED BASEMENTS AND NOW THERE MORE CARS THEN SAPCES FOR PARKING ON ONE SIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!
YOU TAX MORE TAXES FOR THE HOMES THAT HAVE A FINISHED BASEMENT !!! DO YOUR JOB AND GET THE PLACE PLOWED!!!!! YOU HAVE THE WHOLE SHABBOS TO DO IT SO WE DONT HAVE A PROBLEM ON THE HOLIDAY. USE THE SMALLER PLOWS FOR THE BLOCKS THAT HAVE SO MANY CARS!!!!

  11. Just a reminder to all of the complainers in the overcrowded town house developments all over town. B4 you complain about your unshoveled streets, take out a shovel and clear the sidewalks in front of your house.

Please plow west gate till the curb so the road will not be so narrow
======================================== cars park illegally all the time on both sides of the road . how can u expect them to plow if you are illegally parked .

  14. Well it’s nice to see that they remembered to invite the fire department and EMS this time but it’s disappointing to see Lakewood First Aid was left out again considering they have just as much a role to play and take calls during the storm as well, and during the last storm I will remind if not notify readers that they picked up frum members of the community as well as goy so they should have been included, meir should not have to find out what happened from mr. carter or mo heinemann!

  15. Someone put up a sign, that people should park their cars on the even side on the street, if they can’t park off the street. That way the plow can get through to clear the street.

  16. No police in west gate!! way DPW ??
cars park illegally all the time on both sides of
the road . how can u expect them to plow if you are illegally parked .

  17. How about a THANK YOU to ALL the agencies who are simply OUT TO HELP. Paid or non paid Machers or no machers, who cares? Are you that jealous? Then step up to the plate yourself and join. If being a macher is what comes along with being involved in any of these agencies, so be it. Their here to assist YOU, so rather then poke fun, be thankful.

  18. If you are representing an agency or organization and want to be called to these meetings just let the right people know and they will be more then happy to invite you to the next one..stop complaining already..

  19. Its ok. Lakewood First Aid wasn’t the only one left out. HATZOLAH was left out too!!! Meir Lichtenstein was there as a township official. I confirmed with Hatzolah…They had no idea there was a meeting….They never do!!Captain Neuman is in good company..I guess Scott Carter runs EMS for the WHOLE Lakewood..

  20. my block captain from our annual tzedakah drive wasnt invited either. waaaaahh. Do you have to have one of those bulky walkie-talkies to get in to such a meeting? next block party we will be taking up a collection so our captain can come too

  21. to number 38 i guess you didnt speak to enough hatzalah members. i heard from somone at the meeting hatzalah had a few people invited just thay got busy at the time.

  22. the problem is all that certain people walk around with a big chip on their shoulders so they expect to be invited to everything and everyone has to accommodate their whims

  23. To: number 41. Its not true …..try not to cover for anyone….Unless there was some sort of MEGA call, which there wasn’t, Hatzolah would have been there.
