Since the August 15th start of the CR539 Police Partnership Safety Initiative, the partnering police agencies have stopped a total of 301 vehicles during their coordinated saturation patrols, accounting for 169 summons issued and ten arrests, the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office said today.
Speeding summons top the charts at 50, followed by 34 other moving violations issued.
“Most important is the fact that a good majority of motorists are choosing to drive responsibly and there have been no fatalities or accidents involving serious injury during the period,” the Prosecutor’s Office said. “OCPO and the partnering agencies pray that this final statistic continues.”
The coordinated patrols are scheduled to continue until September 15, 2015.

They need to do the same thing on CR526 East.
Sorry where’s 539 does it have a name?
CR539 runs north – south from Jackson/Manchester to Tuckerton. Its a way to avoid the parkway if you are going south toward Atlantic City.
