The Orthodox Jewish Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with Ocean County and the state of New Jersey, is hosting a Day of Empowerment on May 13that the Clarion Conference Center in Toms River. This event, known as NJ Economic Development Day, aims to provide resources, programs, and services to help businesses grow and navigate the complexities of the current economy. The event will feature high-level presenters from organizations such as the New Jersey Economic Development Association (NJEDA), the New Jersey Business Action Center, Choose New Jersey, Inc., and Ocean County Business Development.
Doors open at 11am with Networking and exhibitions, The event will kick off with a 12:30pm award ceremony honoring Commissioner Frank Sadeghi and Chairman of Ocean County Business Development and Tourism for their contributions to economic growth in the region.
Following the award ceremony, there will be a 1:00pm WOMEN IN THE WORKFORCE PANEL focusing on assisting women in advancing up the corporate ladder and achieving success at higher levels.
The panelists include prominent female leaders from various industries, such as Jodi Hope Grinwald, CEO of the Monmouth-Ocean Development Council, and Stacey Kavanaugh, First Vice President and Market Manager with Provident Bank.
The event will also feature a 2:00pm panel discussion on helping businesses grow and learn about programs and services provided by the state of New Jersey. Panelists include Bill Noonan, Chief Business Development Officer at Choose NJ, and Stephen Milgrom, Manager of the Office of Business Advocacy at the New Jersey Business Action Center.
