Ocean County Internal Medicine Associates, PC, Drs. Cohen, Lempel, Ogun and Green, is terminating their participation with United Healthcare Community Plan, effective November 2018.
They do accept the Medicaid plans of Amerigroup and Horizon NJ Health.
Any changes in insurance made by October 15th will be effective November 1st. Changes made after October 15th, will take effect December 1st.

There was a letter that went out about a year ago stating that it was happening, but they were unsure when.

This is the woes of ObamaCare. United Healthcare keeps the money they receive from govt funds in their pocket and do not prioritize it for patient care and physician reimbursement. We should all call United Healthcare (back of your card) and demand justice for physicians that care for us as well as patient care
