[COMMUNICATED] Multiple Lakewood residents reported sightings of an airborne Fiveish today, generating reactions ranging from fright (“are we being invaded?”) to excitement (“hey it’s Fiveish up there!”). Oorah, home of everyone’s favorite $5 bill, confirmed that more Fiveish sightings are to be expected in the days leading up to the Oorah-thon, which will be held this motzaei Shabbos.
Families worried that Fiveish has not appeared in front of their homes are asked to sit tight and keep calm, as he will likely be arriving shortly. Meanwhile, readers are invited to send photos of their Fiveish sightings to balloons@oorah.org.
I have an idea for an Oorah Auction prize for next year.
Oorah’s CEO/Owner will sit down and discuss marketing with you for your own business.
Strange site this morning to see a bunch of weird balloons on our block.
Definitely innovative!
Oorah does such special work. It’s so sad that they use this immature “Feivish” theme. I’m not saying it doesn’t work. Their marketing technics obviously do work! However at what cost? It definitely turned me off!
How did Oorah manage to get out so many balloons?! Wonder how many of them have been up all night… Pretty awesome idea.
I was thrilled when my children found it outside of our home. It added so much excitement to their day. Thank you Oorah for the entertainment.
Hey Lakewood,
Don’t be so quick to judge. Much of their campaigns are sponsored. More over, Oorah spends much less than the average, chinese auction, dinner, fund raising event, out there. Instead of spending on a hall and personell and the set up it entails they have a radiothon. In the end they aren’t spending all that much.
Go Oorah!
Marketing advice is an ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC idea for a future prize!
Keep up your good humor and your good work…
Lakewood Courier we do it all!
