PHOTO: Four new tennis courts will be opened to the public this week. The tennis courts, at the entrance to Pine Park, were installed several years ago, but were just completed with its stripes by the Department of Public Works.
DPW Supervisor Tony Arrechi tells TLS the Township saved thousands of dollars by having the finishing touches completed in-house, instead of outsourcing the work.
Additionally, the DPW will be refurbishing the other tennis courts and handball courts in the coming weeks and in time for the Summer season, Arrechi says.
The new tennis courts are expected to be open later this week.
