New Jersey Department of Education Announces Stabilization Aid; Over $20 Million for Ocean County

The New Jersey Department of Education (NJDOE) today announced which school districts would be receiving Stabilization Aid awards. Governor Phil Murphy’s Fiscal Year 2022 Budget included Stabilization Aid to help districts facing reductions in State aid and/or structural budgetary deficits.

Sixteen districts were awarded approximately $37 million dollars in Stabilization Aid awards.
