Due to the huge overflow of new applicants to girls’ elementary schools this year and with very few slots left in the current Mosdos, a new girls school will be opening this coming school year, TLS has learned. Much enthusiasm has been expressed by parents and Askonim alike in anticipation of the new school, which will be called Shiras Chaim.
The Menaheles of the school, has been named as Mrs. B.C. Versicherter, who brings with her many years of experience in Chinuch Habanos and is a veteran Morah of Tiferes Bais Yaakov.
For more information regarding Primary applications for the upcoming school year, you can call R’ Moshe Dovid Perlstein at 732-905-5353. TLS.
I am so excited ! Perlstein is a man of his word! He will bring to town something that is SO SO needed!
Hatzlocha! This is a big loss for our school, but I wish Mrs. Versicheter much brocha and hatzlocha in her new position!
Go Moseh Duvid go!! you are the man! we wish you lots of Hatzlacha!!!!
She was a phenominal teacher and warm person. A true loss for tiferes bais yaakov.
To number 1 stay where u are bec u prob can’t get in anywhere else
wow!! this is fantastic! Thank you to all!
Dear yehuda,
I spoke to MD and we are meeting on Sunday and (moderated) so its worth trying! To me the main thing is WHo is the leader ? This lady has a very good reputation
No 1, you are a despicable person not to mention a huge kofoi tov to be so demeaning to your childrens school. I’m assuming u didn’t get accepted to a ‘better’ school and that’s why you are so bitter.
much hatzlacha – this sounds like a very good school!
what kind of crowd are they gearing towards?
Number 8,
What agenda do you have? I am not a kofei tova at all, I learned in Kollel for eight years and now do a big Aveira- I work as an accountant in Manhattan! so therefore I didnt have the luxury of picking a good school and got stuck with one of the three bottom of the barrel schools. I am not bitter at all but just so so happy that I have an option to work on. My wife has been so down on me that I didnt beg the good schools and spend all day getting people to bug them.
i heard the crowd they are looking for is bais faiga and bnos divora type
Was just wondering if this school has any Hamlatzas, Haskomos, or Rabbinical backing bichlal.
tiferes loss is shiras chaims gain the tears are rolling. we will miss you Mrs. versicherter.
we are so sad to see you go Mrs versicerter
Will he be bringing down the cost of tuition in this town as well? I sure can use the break with these tuition expenses.
I applaud Mrs. B.C. Versichter as being hired as a principal. She is a mechaneches par excellence with her agenda only being the benefit of the child. She never makes any decision based on herself, her Kovod but strictly for the good of her students. I know there is a desperate need for another good girls school in town. Besides being an incrediblehuman bein, mentsch and an awesome educator, Mrs. Versichter is a role model for parents, students and other principals. Wishing her much hatzlacha.
thank you Moshe David for all you do for everyone. keep it up. I’m sure it school will be very matzliach.
Is the name Shiras Chaim named after Reb. Chaim perlstien ztl”
I know R’ Moshe Dovid shlit”a for over 20 years, and I can testify what a tzaddik he is, and how big a heart he has. Unfortunately for them, some short-sighted people fail to notice this, but fortunately for anshei Lakewood who now will have a school to be proud od B”H!
I finally got into my top choice school. But due to the excellent menaheles who I have known for years, I am thinking about applying here. Much Hatzlacha.
What does bais faiga bnos devorah type mean? Those are two schools with assorted types as are most schools. Is that what they are aiming for? I dont really understand school types so please explain I have a hard time with Lakewood “typing”
