Mr. George Berman Z’L

We regret to inform you of the passing of Mr. George Berman Z’L, who was Niftar today at the age of 83. Mr. Berman Z’L, a member of Congregation Sons of Israel, relocated to Boston after the war and moved to Lakewood approximately 8 years ago, to be with his children and grandchildren.

The Levaya is currently taking place at the 7th Street Chapel, and Shivah will be held at 133 Hearth Court West. Shachris will be at 7:30 AM, and Mincha and Maariv at 4:30 PM.

George was niftar on Friday Erev Shabbos Kodesh. May He rest in peace. What a wonderfull person.

George was my sister-in-law’s father. He was the definition of courage, character and sensitivity. I will miss you, George.

R’ Berman was a walking Kiddush Hash-m. He was the ultimate mesch & Yid. He was a former US Marine who served in the Korean War. I was honored to b called his friend & will mss him greatly. May ur holy neshamah have an aliya! Semper Fi, Gunny. We love u & miss u!
