Mr. Barry Moon of the Township’s DPW, was named the Employee Of The Month for August at Thursday evening’s Township Committee meeting. Mr. Moon was joined by friends and colleagues as he was awarded a plaque, and with adesignated parking spot for the month.

The employee of the month is chosen by the Lakewood public and co-workers.

The program, spearheaded by Committeeman Meir Lichtenstien, was instituted to highlight the achievements of all township employees and recognize those individuals who serve the public and treat fellow employees in an exemplary way.
