Missionaries now making calls to local homes

Missionaries are now resorting to robocalls to try and recruit followers.

Over the last few years, Missionaries have inundated Lakewood by walking door to door and handing out pamphlets. But now residents in Lakewood and Toms River are reporting receiving calls to their homes.

A voice mail we received from a local resident has a woman by the name of “Miriam” inviting residents to view their missionary website.

    • True
But it is still wrong, disgusting, and evil.

In fact, legality is absolutely not the issue. Something can be illegal and moral, and legal and immoral

    • What these people are doing, might be legal, but most people find it offensive, when others suggest that they should convert to a different religion.

  1. I got one from a “Yehudas Anemier” at 732-228-2272. I tried to call back to see who it was and the line was disconnected. They are using professional robo-call methods where numbers are constantly rotated. I blocked it just in case.Usualy they try once from a number then take it off-line and go to the next one. The whole process is automated. It’s a nuisance but not illegal.

  2. I got a letter addressed by hand for the —–family from a woman in Jackson. I didn’t read the material, but it looked suspicious, talking about G-d etc. I threw it away.

    • the Amish are Christian, there is nowhere to missioner them to. they own the “right” set of beliefs already.
Jews, on the other hand, from a christian point of view, don’t.
it really has nothing to do with owning phones, internet, etc. they always knew the way to get to us, even in pre-modern times.

  3. Israelreader,
They’re not focused on those that are offended. They’re focused on those that are willing to listen to their message. Hashem Yishmor!

  4. if you see them report it on the lake wood scoop and well get buchrim to chase and throw cholent at them . JUST KIDING if you see their material destroy it immediately
