LAC with akThe LAC, on behalf of all the developments in Lakewood, would like to thank the entire staff of Lakewood DPW for a job well done. We would also like to thank, Mr. John Franklin, and road supervisor Mr. Jim Casey for their coordination of a successful job well done. A special thank you to Mayor Steven Langert and Meir Lichtenstien for facilitating and working to ensure smooth coordination. The exemplary job performed during this snow storm, is much appreciated by all development residents. We hope to continue our working relationship with the DPW for many years to come. A special thank you to Menashe Miller Ray Coles and Senator Bob Singer for all the time and effort they put in to ensure a successful campaign.

  1. high faluting english with multi sylable words still needs a grammar check
but i too concur, my street was cleaned in record time!

    thank you lakewood township.

  2. The lac does NOT represent my W/O development. Never did. Never will.

But I would like to express my appreciation to the hard working DPW employees for their efforts in giving us drivable streets under the harsh storm circumstances. THANK YOU!

  3. I’m glad for all you people who live in the middle Lakewood as all your streets are plowed. I see Lakewood takes care of it “own”. It is 10:21 PM on Saturday night and the last time my street (a public one) was plowed was very early this morning, long before I got up. It looked like the plow went down the street once and that was it. Oh well, at least I won’t have to dig out all the snow that is usually piled up in my driveway. And cars have been going past my house so I guess I can get out. BTW – I have 12 inches of snow in my yard.

  4. I am not sure where you’ve been, but Corzine lost the elction, and with it went the promise of widening the 9. It seems like the issue really bothers you and you feel it is a shame he lost. Don’t let it make you depressed though. That’s the world of politics. Cheer up!

  5. I must admit that the township did do much better job this time around and for that we are appreciative. Just for the record my street happens to be from the ones that was done quite late tonight but at least it was finally done.
The forcast is for anothe storm tues night / wed I only hope that public works will continue to do a good job.
meanwhile Thank you for what was done so far.

  6. I am a sinple guy do not live in a development and the LAC does not represent me neither does the VAAD ..its time for a umbrella mosad that will represent ALL lakewood residents not one that only has the intrest of certain groups or areas.

  7. WHERE IS THE LAC ON THE UEZ CORRUPTION THAT AGAIN THEY HIGHERED SOMEONE FROM THE VAAD AGAIN THEY JUST HIGHERED A NEW ACCOUNTING CLERK WHY COULDN’T THEY HIGHER FROM LAKEWOOD THERE ARE OVER A HUNDRED PEOPLE FROM LAKEWOOD THAT WANTED THAT JOB AND NO ONE WAS INTERVEIWED THE ANSWER THEY WANTDED SOMEONE THAT WILL KEEP THE SECRETS OF THE CORRUPTION GOING ON THEIR AND THE LAC DOESN’T SAY ANYTHING THE ANSWER THE GOT FROM THE LAC A MILLION DOLLAR LOAN TWO FOUNDING MEMBERS GOT A OVER A MILLION DOLLAR LOAN NOT TO TALK THATS WHY WE DON’T HERE FROM THEM ANYTHING. LETS SEE IF THEY GOT PAYED OFF NOT TO SUPPORT PEOPLE TO RUN AGAINST THE CURRENT CORRUPT BOARD OF ED SINCE THATS WHAT MADE THEM BE SUPPORTED BY LAKEWOODSICE THEIR IDEA OF FIGHTING LAST YEARS ASSESMENT ONLY HELPED CERTAIN AREA’S OF LAKEWOOD WHILE OTHWERS HAD TO FOOT THE BILL OF FIGHTING THEM AND IT WAS ONLY FOR ONE YEAR SO WHY MAKE LAKEWOOD SPEND MILLIONS OF DOLLARS FIGHTING A ASSESMENT FOR ONE YEAR ONLY SINCE THIS YEAR THEY REASSEST EVERYONE AGAIN

  8. Yep – I’m back again. (See #8 comment above). It’s now 1:45 PM on Sunday and my street STILL has NOT SEEN A PLOW. HOWEVER, that’s fine with me. A lot of cars have packed the snow down and now the sun is heating up the asphalt enough to start melting the snow. My driveway is clean and I can get out. As of right now I don’t want the township to PLOW my street and pile the snow in my driveway. Maybe, if anything, some SAND for traction is all we need.

  9. My street was still only done in the middle of the street. Meaning there is no place to park cars because the snow is out to the muiddle of the street! So maybe they remembereed the developments but it appears that they forgot the regular streets
