PHOTOS: This past Sunday, during the blizzard, a Sefer Torah was donated to the Mesivta of Lakewood. Despite the heavy snowfall, over one hundred Bachurim and Baalei Batim rejoiced in the streets as the Torah was brought from the donors home to the Yeshivah. The Sefer Torah was donated by R’ Pinchas Yurowitz from Laurelwood Avenue.

Unbelievable! I’m truly amazed and proud at the Lakewood community! In such weather to have so many people gather together for a Hachnasas Sefer Torah! What a Kiddush Hashem! What Ahavas Torah!
Is there a reason the event had to take place on that day? Wouldn’t common sense dictate not to hold a hachnosas Sefer torah in a blizzard?
