PHOTOS: Police in Eatontown are investigating the vandalizing of the Mesivta of Eatontown. The Mesivta, under the auspicious of Rabbi Sender Kaszirer of Lakewood, was vandalized some time between Monday and Friday, while the Yeshivah was off because of the storm.
“When I walked into the building I was shocked to find the Bais Medrash vandalized”, Rabbi Kaszirer tells TLS. “The Aron Kodesh was open, the Sefer Torah taken out and it’s Mantel taken off”, he said. “In addition, graffiti and satanic symbols were written over the tables”, Kasizrer said
Eatontown Police and Detectives are investigating.
UPDATE 8:40 p.m: Rabbi Kaszirer has notified TLS that Police have arrested a 16 year old in connection with the crime, after following the footsteps in the snow.
Rabbi Kasirer would like to thank Detective Philip Emanuele of the Eatontown Police for his work in the case.
Rabbi Mermestein you are the best , a malach sent down to bring out the best in Yiddishe neshamos . Don’t let this stop your holy work.
Was there a safe for sifrei torahs?were ST stolen?
Oy vey what a tragedy I hope they catch the punks who did this. Rabbi K is such a geshmaka guy!
This yeshiva is a life saver for these bochurim and their families. I love it every time I see them. The Kasirer family gets a huge “high five” for their kochos.
I bet the 16 yo perp they got was not an illegall! So stop blaming them for every crime.
B”H we are zocheh to have such a wonderful Yashivah who brings out the best in each bochur no matter where he comes from! May Hashem give strength to Rabbi Kaszirer and his entire staff of the most giving and devoted Rebbaim to continue with there holy work and bring out the best in each and every bochur !
Rabbi. K
Is the most amazing person that I know. He puts in what ever he has into the boys. Please send money to help him with his great work.
Talmued
WHY DONT THAY HAVE A SAFE
I firmly believe you shouldn’t show a picture of a desecrated Sefer Torah.
It is like seeing a dead person.
Many people fast from seeing such a thing.
Please respect our age-old yiddishe sensibilities.
Wow! Thats a quick arrest, i hope lakewood police will take some lessons from eatontown police how to make quick asserts

a safe is expensive…. perhaps you would like to donate one?
Is this the eatontown scoop? Or the lakewood scoop?
I think it`s because there are no slumlords in Eatotown!
CUT OFF HIS HANDS! Maybe that’s too harsh – after all, the Yeshiva didn’t install landmines…
A safe is not as expensive as u think just call perfect locksmith in boro park
It is an amazing yeshiva, and does great work. With Rabbi Kaszirer at the helm. Of course his helping hands that are there to help in his work. Namely Matis Nitzlich the administrator, May the whole hanahla continue to see continued bracha in their work.
Yeah man
as i was the gabbi in my previous days in yeshiva (my tenth grade to graduation) we were always very careful of the torah, it was always taken back to lakewood during long vacation! a safe is very expensive and we obviously didnt see a need for one. after this incident maybe the yeshiva does need one, but yes it is very expensive!
i am a big fan of the mesivta of eatontown, and the kaszirer family. and as an alumnus in israel i can just be a big supporter!
Go Mesivta of eatontown! and my dear rosh yeshiva rabbi kaszirer
