Is the menorah running on township electricity? It may be an issue. The town square should not be for religious displays. It should be a place where homeless and mentally ill people can gather. There they can receive medical care, food, clothing,and listen to anti semitic speeches. The taxpayer should not pay for such displays. We should take satisfaction that our tax money goes to maintain a town square where people can come from all over to express their hatred of the ones that pay for the electricity they are using to make their speeches.
We can’t allow these sort of things to happen in our community! We need our Rabonim to take a very strong stand against this sort of “new-age Religion”, next thing we know they will be convincing our Rebitzins to put of teffilin, and have a Moshiach flag in front of the Yeshiva Chas Vesholom!!

To all you close-minded, uneducated people that commented on this: First of all, have you ever heard of pirsumei nissa? It’s one of the biggest inyonim of Chanukah! Second of all, you are all trying to act like you know so much Torah and are really serving Hashem – well, all of your Yiddishkeit isn’t worth anything if you can’t have a simple ahavas yisroel and respect for people who are trying to spread G-dliness into the world and bring Moshiach closer! Lakewood is still in the Dark Ages when it comes to relating to others who are not as HOLY as them. Those Menorahs, lit up thruout Jersey and the rest of the planet, reignite the flame in countless of real HOLY souls.
