I think we should also list the minyanim for people with corona so they can all go to shul if they feel up to it without giving their corona to others. From the title that is what i thought this was about
For those that have carona they and their families are supposed to be quarantined at home and not go out. This is per Dr’s including Dr Shanik. Their are ppl where I live that are walking around with carona and their family members as well. Dr Shanik told me that if I see someone out that I know has carona I should tell them to call their doctor and get guidelines from their dr regarding what to do. He said if it was his patient or family member he would say don’t go to shul and make sure everyone in the family quarantined. He said there are ppl in the hospitals on respirators. Please please adhere to masking and social distancing and if you have carona you and your family should quarantine. Let this not turn into March and April again.
Thank you- there are people who want to do their hishtadlus to not be inconvenienced by Corona. I cannot afford to miss a few weeks of work while I’m sick and would appreciate info about this
Chabad of Jackson will have an outdoor minyan with masks and social distancing. 645 Cross Street, tent behind the house
I am the one who asked TLS to post this. Indeed I meant and I wrote like Dan was saying that there should be a list of corona minyanim that are designated for people with active corona. I think this would be a big fieles for a lot of people; for people who have corona- they will have a place to daven, and for others- they won’t be exposed to people who have corona who think for some reason that they could come to shul.
By the way I spoke to “my friend the doctor” about such a concept and he told me there is no way he can officially sanction it but limaaseh it is OK.
it says list your corona minyanim, not list your shittos.
I don’t think any shuls should be open this particular Yom Kippur. We should all pray at home to the best of our abilities and Hashem will help. I just see too many problems down the road by gathering together for this holiday. Too risky. Klal Yisrael should have an easy time fasting & Bore’ Olam should protect us all.
There was a minyan in arlington neighborhood for active corona cases on r”h don’t know if having one on y”k also…
He asked for a corona minyan and everybody giving their opinions. This is a lkwd website not meant for all the ppl from outa town to shtell their dayos. In your city let it run how you want but here let us decide. We will have to make a website for lkwd exclusive if every person in the world thinks they shtell their opinion on OUR city. We wish gantz klal yisroel a Gmar Chasima Tovah.
Rabbi Wehl’s shul 9 sharon ct has a tent on the patio attached to the main BM for anyone, who has/or has been exposed i believe its men only
@lkwedrs only : bechavod gadol. your actions on YK affect all of us out of towners greatly, especially for those of your fellow landsmen who plan to travel far and wide to relatives for sukkos.
Some who davened in a corona positive minyan with mild symptoms ended up hospitalized due to viral overload.
maybe they should be following CDC guidelines like everyone else and quarantining if they are positive?
K’hal Bais Eliyahu on calendula Court in Jackson
Arlington shul has a huge outdoor tent for corona minyan
I don’t have an opinion on whether or not there should be minyanim for people who tested positive for corona (I definitely understand why people would not want to miss minyan on yom kippur)
HOWEVER IF YOU TESTED POSITIVE, PLEASE DO NOT JOIN A MINYAN FOR THOSE WHO ARE BEING CAREFUL!! EVEN IF IT’S OUTSIDE. THERE IS A REASON THESE PEOPLE ARE BEING CAREFUL!!!!
Why are people who’s family members have corna going to shul even if wearing a
Ask and standing outside ! You should not be going to shul !! Stay home your not getting mitzvah by going to shul .. how many times does it have to be said until people listen !
Zichron Shneur, Oak Knoll Rd., had an outdoor minyan on RH. I believe they’re having one on Yom Kippur as well.
GC”T.
Why is Yom Kippur any different than any other day don’t we daven three times a day it’s not like we’re reform or something
Why should Yom Kippur make it more
And everyone use your brains please do NOT fast wearing a mask if you care about your health
Somerset Walk will have a COVID Minyan
making a minyan for corona positive or exposed individuals while the intentions are great it very well may be a mitzvoh bo b’oveira if the law in your area is that positive/exposed individuals must quarantine.
Corona minyan at ohel shulamit for those that have COVID it is sectioned off for them. And for those who don’t have COVID also have minyan.
#18 – in shul much longer and usually much more packed…
I don’t think any shul should have indoor COVID minyan, my wife and i won’t go to shul because we bh never got COVID. The shul were i Daven has COVID minyan and has regular in the same room just sectioned off. I don’t feel it’s right to do indoor COVID minyan. I guess we won’t go to daven in shul. Venishmartem meod lenafshiseichem! Let’s protect others!
Actually the reason we daven with minyan is to have the zchus harabim Because byochid hashem looks at the individuals sins see Shulchan aruch
Zechus HaRabbim is important, but I cannot believe that HaShem yisborach would look favorably upon those who risk others’ health by being moser nefesh for a minyan when they should be quarantining or isolated.
This COVID minyan concept is dangerous and foolish.
It is a very clear to me that sick people would achieve more rachamei shomayim if they would show HaShem how much they care for their fellow Jew that they stay home when they should.
Let’s not be chassidim shotim.
Coventry Shul will be having a tent outside for Corona and Safek Corona people.
GC”T to all.
