UPDATES in extended article. (Photo taken moments ago by a reader). TLS just spoke with a local Police Officer who asked to notify the community to stay where you are as the snow continues to fall. “Even police cars are getting stuck” he told TLS. Ocean and Monmouth Counties are being hit the worst in the storm and streets are slick with extremely poor visibility. The state could see 10 to 15 inches of snow throughout today and into Sunday, said Meteorologist Anthony Gigi of the National Weather Service’s Mount Holly office. He compared this storm to the February 2003 blizzard, which paralyzed the tri-state area. As much as 20 inches of snow could fall in some parts of the county. TLS/APP
