The Lakewood Police Department in conjunction with LCSW, Department of Homeland Security and other organizations, will hold a security training conference this week for Shuls and schools throughout Lakewood.
The all-day event will feature presentations from Police Chief Rob Lawson, Director of the OHSP Edward Dickson, from the Ocean County Health Department and others, in an effort to educate school and Shul leaders against the threats of terrorism and other threats.

Can anyone explain to me what LCSW can bring to a Security Conference on school safety? Is this class being attended by its members as well? I hope so as this is serious professional business, not just a group running all over the place.
Is the WHOLE community involved in this or is it a select few?
Is Sgt. Desimone’s Homeland Security Unit going to be present
Will the lfd, ems , Hatzolah, fire marshals, public works be invited too.
Don’t be silly Goy I’AM , NO the first responder agencies will not be invited. The first responder’s have never gotten an invitation to attend any of these presentations in the past and probally never will in the future.

its the towns but being that the town has not taken it seroiusly homeland security asked mr pinter [ who gave his own time & $ for this ] from lcsw to take care of this as this threat is not a light issue as many think [look at the story in france 2 months ago etc ..] lcsw will not give insight to it ,homeland security will !
