VIDEO of today’s walkout ceremony for LPD Captain Greg Miick, who retired today after 34 years of service, with his first two years serving the Long Branch Police Department. Attending the ceremony were Greg’s family and friends, and dozens of Police Officers and their families, including several retired
officers.

Greg’s son, Erik Miick, has recently joined the Lakewood Police Department.

Greg’ retirement is expected to be followed by many other high ranking cops, as the pension reform by Governor Christie takes effect.
