Low flying helicopter inspecting JCP&L transmission lines

Notice a low-flying chopper? VistaI Helicopter Svc. is tentatively scheduled to perform post-construction, aerial UV/IR inspections in the Central JCP&L Region as schedule permits between July 18, 2016 and July 29,2016.

The helicopter will be flying slowly (approximately 10-20 mph) along the lines and may often hover and/or circle for a close inspection of the facilities, particularly at individual structure locations.

The helicopter scheduled for these patrols is a black with gray stripes, Bell 206 Jet Ranger with registration (tail) number N321AW.
