A gas station attendant at the Shell station on Lanes Mill Road was robbed at knifepoint moments ago, police say.

The suspect reportedly filled up gas at the Brick station around 8:30 p.m., and then robbed the gas station at knifepoint. He then fled with the stolen gas, and several hundred dollars in cash, sources say.

The suspect, described as a white male wearing a white t-shirt and bandana, fled in a grey Honda Civic.

Authorities in Brick, Lakewood and other neighboring towns are searching for the suspect.
