I am a therapist who, himself suffers from high levels of anxiety. Is this something that can stunt my growth in the therapist world? Is it bad for my clients? Is treating people with similar situations to mine bad for my own mental health? Please advise. Thank you for your show.
Thanks for the great show. How do you teach a 12 year old that is overweight to control her appetite without effecting her self consciousness?
My wife, who is in her 70’s, has been gaining weight to the point where she is now obese. She constantly snacks. I believe it is because she is nervous and worries about everything and everyone in the family. I am concerned that the excess weight will effect her health. She has high blood pressure and is on medication for it. Her family has a history of heart disease. I try to convince her to do something about the weight. Join a program, see a nutritionist, etc. She ignores me. Any suggestions?
I have a question for you, while you are constantly trying to calm everybody down with there emotions and letting go, doesn’t all the leaders and heads of all does organizations and even gedolim have this strong emotions and control, please explain between healthy and not.
Thank you so much for your show which really clear our minds in this confused generation.
I’ve been to a couple therapists for anxiety and was not successful,my biggest issue is that I’m socially awkward and even though I know I’m awkward I can’t help it and I end up getting strange looks from everyone. I can’t connect to anyone and I am so isolated even though I try so hard I don’t know what to do anymore.Everyyone already thinks I’m weird and I’m having a very hard time getting a date ( I’m a 22 year old girl). What can I do?
