UPDATED: Fire Severely Damages Lakewood Home

fire country placeThe Lakewood Fire Department hit out a general alarm moments ago for a structure fire in a home in A Country Place development.

Flames and smoke are reportedly visible outside the home, and all Lakewood’s fire companies are en-route to the scene.

There are no reports of injuries, and the cause of the fire will be investigated by the Ocean Count Fire Marshal’s Office.

UPDATE: The fire was knocked down, but left the home severely damaged.
