VIDEO: [UPDATED] The Lakewood Fire Department has hit out a General Alarm moments ago for a fully-engulfed structure fire.

The fire broke out shortly before 11 PM in one of the buildings at the Highpoint Condominiums complex, and fully engulfed an apartment.

Flames are strongly visible, and the building has been evacuated.

There are no reports of injuries at this time.

Dozens of Lakewood’s emergency personnel have responded to the scene, along with mutual aid from Brick Township.

Red Cross was also called in for the displaced families.

The Fire Marshal’s Office and Prosecutor’s Office are investigating the fire.
