LFD: It is with pride the Lakewood Board of Fire Commissioners, along with Fire Chief Mike D’Elia Jr., announce the Lakewood Fire Department Summer Fire Safety Program will commence on June 15th and continue through the end of August.
Fire Safety Presentations offer a wealth of information that is enlightening and useful to individuals of all ages. Topics covered include but are not limited to: smoke detectors, carbon monoxide alarms, escape planning, cooking safety, burn prevention, elimination of fire hazards, stop, drop and roll, etc. The benefits of these educational presentations are tremendous and their success is directly attributable to the dedicated members of the Lakewood Fire Department and the professional manner in which they carry out their duties.
To inquire about or schedule a Fire Safety Presentation for your school, camp, community group, etc. please call Fire Prevention Coordinator Jacob Woolf at 732-364-5151 Extension #3 or you may send an email to fireprevention@lakewoodfd.org Due to the popularity of the Summer Fire Safety Program, you are encouraged to submit your requests at least one month in advance of the date you would like the presentation to be conducted.
