LCSW Takes On 5 New Members

LCSW with Chief LawsonLast night, the Lakewood Civilian Safety Watch patrol team added five new members to it’s team, bringing it to a total number of 27 members. The volunteer program which started about 2 years ago has to date assisted police with multiple arrests. Police Chief Rob Lawson has thanked them for that and called the group a “tremendous asset to the community”.

The directors of LCSW have informed us that they are still accepting applications, which are reviewed and voted on by the board. If you have spare time and believe you are fit for the job, click here to download the application form.

Additionally, the group is also looking for volunteers who wish to assist with neighborhood patrolling.

The number to report suspicious activity to LCSW, is 732-367 1212.

  2. “Congregation or Church do you affiliate with” Do I need to belong to one to be a member? Maybe we could patrol my neighborhood.

  5. Thank you to all of you who give of your free time to patrol our streets. It’s certainly less scary to sleep at night than it used to be. Everyone who can should join for as little or much as they can. Every hour makes a difference. May you all be zoche to shefa and kol tuv!
