PHOTO: A road rage incident resulted in the arrest of a man, located with the assistance of LCSW. The incident began about 6:45 PM when two Hispanic males jumped out of their vehicle and began banging on another vehicle’s window following a road incident.
While banging on the windows, one of the Hispanic males – who appeared to be intoxicated – reportedly began threatening the motorist and claimed he had a gun. The two men then fled.
LCSW and police were called in an attempt to locate the parties, and were given a description of the vehicle as well as the license plates.
Upon arrival, police searched for the suspect’s vehicle, but were unable to locate it.
In the meantime, several members from LCSW circled the area in search of the vehicle and spotted it parked in a driveway around the corner from where the incident took place.
Police were notified and approached the home in an attempt to speak to the suspects, but as they approached the home, the suspects ran from the home through the backyard.
Police caught up with the suspects and tackled the male suspected of having a gun. He was arrested.
The other suspect was questioned and released. TLS-CCP/TLS-71/TLS-72.

I doubt that the incident began “about 6:45 PM when two Hispanic males jumped out of their vehicle and began banging on another vehicle’s window”…….It probably began more like when one Lakewood’s skilled and courteous drivers cut the two Hispanic males off by going straight in a turn lane or tailgated them for several miles or maybe even passed them on the right at a stop sign and cut around them to turn left.
People don’t just get out of their cars for no reason to bang on peoples windows. The above scenarios happen to me on a daily basis in this town and get me plenty mad. How come the LPD and LCSW aren’t hunting those people down?
The community should come together like in all other city’s and donate bullet proof vests to the Lcsw , they respond to calls put out by people who live here it’s our responsibility to make sure our shomrim are well equipped and you might think that they shouldn’t get into risky situations , but just being around anything could happen as we’ve all scene in other citys
Glad people are taking the initative to stop and report unacceptable behavior. Kudos to all those involved in stopping crime.

You can always contact police when you witness vehicles driving erratically, if you don’t speak up and do something about it why are you expecting everyone else to ? Quit complaining and do something about it. Call it In and maybe you could be saving a life.

#6 LCSW is not a law enforcement organization it is a community watch group, that has taken apon itself to do more then watch. It’s just a matter of time before someone gets hurt. If you’re not carrying a fires rm then you don’t need a bulletproof vest.

Most mall security in middle America carry bullet vests they don’t have guns, what does a gun have to do with the need for vests? If you respond to hotline in progress calls then you should 100% be supplied with proper vests for peotection

Support Lcsw borough park shomrim get shot and the check books and bullet proof vests get flowing , in Lakewood they just get bashed, for volunteering there time and MONEY to repond to our calls
I think I will call shomrim everytime I see someone running a stop sign. After all shomrim arre the eyes and ears of law enforcement. Besides, if I call a cop its considered mesira.
