The deadline for filing your 2017 tax return is this coming up Tuesday, April 17th. This tax season, the LRRC arranged for over 250 individuals and families to file their tax returns free of charge at our office.

For your last minute convenience, VITA tax preparers will be available today, April 16th to file your tax return for free.

If you are a working family with earned income under $54,000, or an individual without dependents with earned income under $30,000, you can utilize this service as long as:

§ You earned all your income in New Jersey
§ Your business expenses were less than $5,000
§ You have no stock or bond transactions
§ You have no rental income

This service is intended for straightforward and simple income situations.

If your income is complex, we recommend seeking the services of a certified accountant.
