Lakewood woman assaulted while walking to Shul on Yom Tov

A Lakewood woman walking to Shul on Yom Tov was assaulted, TLS has learned.

The woman was reportedly walking on Ridge Avenue at approximately 7:40 PM on Yom Tov, when she was approached by a man on a bike and assaulted. She was not injured.

An LCSW member patrolling the area was notified abut the incident and immediately phoned police.

Surveillance cameras in the area are being reviewed.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but didn’t I just read here a few weeks ago that Lakewood is from the safest neighborhoods?
