Multiple volunteers will be heading down to Atlantic City and Edison this evening to help search for Amnon Malchi, the 80-year-old Lakewood resident who has been missing since Noon on Tuesday.
As earlier reported, police said his vehicle was captured on camera yesterday evening, though he has not been spotted since.
A command post is being set up in Lakewood as well as in Atlantic City, and maps and grids are being printed out for the volunteers.
Malchi got into a White Hyundai Sonata with New Jersey platesĀ WVU-23D.
Anyone with information is asked to phone authorities immediately.
UPDATE 7:25 PM. Sources say the vehicle was spotted parked in Edison, New Jersey, but Amnon has not been spotted. Authorities are investigating the latest finding.
The family has brought clothing to Edison to assist in a K9 investigation.
Lakewood Hatzolah is also working with Middlesex County Hatzolah and with the Edison Police Department.
