DWI/MVA

April 25, 2024, at 8:30 p.m., Officer Anthony Amoroso responded to a three car Motor Vehicle Crash on Cross Street. While on scene, Amoroso noted that one of the drivers, Jerry Rojas Leal, 21, from Bronx, N.Y. was exhibiting signs of someone who was under the influence of alcohol. Further investigation resulted in the his arrest for DWI and other related offenses.

Sgt. Eric Miick, Officers Anthony D’Angelo, Richard Uriarte, and Kyle Seehausen assisted in the investigation.

DWI/MVA

April 26, 2024, at 9:44 p.m., Officer Christopher Johnson responded to a Motor Vehicle Crash on Congress Street. During the investigation, Johnson determined that the driver, Nelson Jeronimo 24, from Lakewood, appeared to be under the influence of alcohol. As a result, he was subsequently arrested for DWI and other related offenses without incident.

Officers Lorenzo Camacho, Kyle Seehausen, and Richard Uriarte assisted in the investigation.

WANTED PERSON

April 27, 2024, at 6:30 p.m., Officer Mathew McAvoy conducted a motor vehicle traffic stop on Central Avenue. During the stop McvAvoy was advised by LPD Dispatch, that the driver Ginoved Mendez-Perez, 23, of Lakewood had an active arrest warrant out of Howell, NJ. He was arrested without incident.

Officers Alexander Lopez, Sara Brooks, and Derek McAvoy assisted in the investigation.

DWI

April 28, 2024, at 9:30 p.m., Officer Sara Brooks was patrolling the area of E. County Line Rd and Ridge Avenue when she observed a Cadillac Escalade with a headlight that was not operational. While conducting a motor vehicle stop, Officer Brooks observed the driver trying to conceal several open bottles of alcohol. Further investigation resulted in the arrest of Agustin Corne-Josanchez, 38, of Howell for DWI and other related offenses.

Officers Ryan Laird, Alexander Lopez, and Kyle Seehausen assisted in the investigation.
