WANTED
October 20, 2023, at 4 p.m., Officer Jeffrey Emmons was in the area of NJ Transit Bus Terminal and observed David Belcher, 61, from Lakewood, NJ, from previous encounters. Dispatch confirmed an active Lakewood warrant and Belcher was subsequently arrested.

Officer Sean Capper and Matthew McAvoy assisted in the investigation.

DWI
October 20, 2023, at 4:30 p.m., Officer Michael Villalba responded to the area of Negba Street and Ridge Avenue for a vehicle that was struck and the driver left the scene of the crash scene. Before the Negba Street crash, the officer had responded to another accident that had a similar description. In that incident, the driver had fled the scene.

However, with the help of witness information, the officer was able to locate Antonio Huerta-Clara, 37, from Lakewood, NJ, who was arrested for DWI. Huerta-Clara was charged with multiple offenses, including DWI, careless driving, reckless driving, driving without a license, driving with a suspended license, and leaving the scene of the accident.
Officer Jacob Matthews, Kevin Ortiz, and Adam Bylsma assisted in the investigation.

DWI
October 21, 2023, at midnight, Officer Nicholas Cusanelli observed a vehicle without headlights or taillights activated (turned on). The officer conducted a motor vehicle stop and Luis Sotilcabanillas, 51, from Lakewood, NJ was arrested for DWI, and charged with the following: Reckless Driving, DWI/Refusal, and Failure to use headlights.

Officer Adam Rihacek assisted in the investigation.
