  1. President Biden Calls On Lakewood Police To Negotiate A Six Week ceasefire Deal With Kidnappers
President Biden called on the Lakewood Police Dept. to negotiate a six week ceasefire with the individual, or individuals, who tried to abduct a teenage girl in the area of Forest Park Circle in Lakewood on Thursday evening.
“I spoke with Lakewood Police Chief Greg Meyer today and warned him that sending additional police officers into the Forest Park area, or the Lakewood area in general, to nab the kidnappers is a red line that mustn’t be crossed,” Mr. Biden told reporters on Thursday.
“Sending police officers into the area to arrest the kidnappers could place the kidnappers’ friends and the entire neighborhood in grave danger,” he said.
“I believe a preemptive six week ceasfire deal with the kidnappers, in which they agree not to abduct children, teenagers, or adults, over the 6-week period, in exchange for the release of the kidnappers’ friends who are currently serving prison sentences for murder and kidnapping charges – plus a guarantee from the Lakewood police that they will not pursue the kidnappers, is the best option on the table right now,” Mr. Biden said.
However, Police Chief Meyer told reporters later in the day, that a negotiated deal that allows the kidnappers to continue to roam the streets of Lakewood in search of potential victims is a red line for the Lakewood police dept.
“I can not, in good conscience, allow these ruthless kidnappers to dictate the terms of their brutality, nor can I allow them to continue to roam the streets freely,” Mr. Meyer told reporters. “With all due respect to Mr. Biden, I’d like to ask him point blank: ‘Mr. President, what on Earth are you talking about’?!”

I didn’t know you were capable of serious satire! That was very good. Until now you’ve only written attempted jokes/ corny jokes / my kind of jokes..
And welcome back to the comment section! We haven’t seen you in a while. Unless, of course, you’re the same one as Not Asinine, which would mean that you’ve been on here quite a bunch.

      • I think he’s giving a very good example of what is going on with Gaza.
On a side – or not so side – note, it’s obvious that Israel bent over backwards to allow the Oct. 7 attacks to happen. Everyone is questioning it – from residents to retired army Colonels: It’s impossible ‘according to nature’ that it should happen. They knew everything. War makes big money. The war industry in et US was not doing good under Trump – as he did not allow any new real wars to start (think how he dealt diplomatically with N. Korea). Biden revived it. The biggest manufacturer of arms in the US had a massive stock slump under Trump.

    • I agree with “Shocked” very poor judgement about a potential kidnapping ,there are time we can joke about things ,this is not one of them !

  2. I’m glad the victim got away and the person was caught. But being more responsible is the key. Living your life in a bubble. Not believing negative things can’t happen is wrong. Change your thinking and keep your eyes open to your surroundings. The police can’t be people’s bodyguards.

According to the original report, the guy just randomly walked up to these people, some of them sidewalk and some of them in their cars, all of them near their own houses in good neighborhoods.

Why are you writing that as though they naively walked through a random different neighborhood at night assuming that everything is safe?

  3. I don’t usually write anything and a joke is a joke, but if it was your child i don’t think you would make a joke on something so fresh, escpecially when it just happened.

i understand the joke is about biden, but the story is fresh, and about a child who went through a traumatic situation that no one should ever be in or go through.

maybe be a little more considerate in the future when making a joke about something so fresh.

  4. This story happened about 7:30 in the evening. Sunset was about 7:11 P.M..
I think that these issues are a much bigger problem towards the evening. During the afternoon hours, usually these issues are less frequent. When it is dark outside, the animal thinks that he can escape without getting caught.
