Lakewood Police Chief Greg Meyer answers your ‘Ask The Chief’ questions: I am positive for Covid-19, May I take a solitary drive in my car?

The following is an ‘Ask The Chief’ question submitted to TLS, and the Chief’s response. Email your questions for the Chief to [email protected].

Question: I am positive for Covid-19, may I take a solitary drive in my car?

The Chief’s response: No, as if you are involved in a traffic accident or stopped by police, you are putting our first responders at more of a risk in having to deal with you. As our services are limited and we are stressing the hospitals and doctors, you are required by law to quarantine inside your home.
