Lakewood Police Charge Texas Man in $250,000 Burglary

The Lakewood Police Department has charged Ericson Pring, 35, of Houston, Texas, in connection with a June burglary at a local business.

On June 14th, officers responded to the business following the activation of a burglar alarm. Upon arrival, officers discovered that the front glass doors had been shattered. The owner reported that approximately $250,000 worth of equipment had been stolen.

Detectives determined that multiple individuals forced entry into the business during the early morning hours, damaged display cases, and fled with the stolen equipment. During the four-month investigation, detectives gathered evidence that led to the identification of Ericson Pring as one of the suspects.

Pring was charged with second-degree burglary, second-degree theft, second-degree criminal mischief, and third-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.

“Our detectives stayed with this case and put in the work needed to identify a suspect,” said Chief Gregory H. Meyer. “I appreciate their efforts to hold those responsible accountable.”
