Question:
Hi,
Last winter, in preparation for Purim traffic, township funded tractors did a snow removal day in Westgate. For some reason, instead of creating the usual piles of snow on the sides of the road like the snow plows do, the tractors repeatedly drove over the curb to the center of the park to move the snow from the streets. This cause most of the sidewalk in the Radin village and Kletsk hill corner of the park to be cracked and the grass all around there to be torn up. The area was muddy for months following and is difficult to walk through every time it rains. In addition, the cracked side walks do not allow for bikes or strollers to freely ride.
Is there any plan for fixing this?
Thank you.
Response from Mayor Coles:
I will ask public works to see what needs to be done.
Thanks for letting me know about it
Ray
